It is a modern battery storage designed for companies that want to better manage their own generated energy, reduce consumption peaks and increase the energy flexibility of their operations.
Huawei's LUNA2000-241 series has a capacity of 241 kWh, a maximum cycle efficiency of 91.3%, the ability to use depth of charge and discharge in the range of 0-100%, and an operating range of -30°C to 55°C with derating above 50°C.
Dimensionally, it is a compact solution for the capacity: 1150 × 1800 × 2100 mm, with a weight under 2.8 tonnes.
The main benefit is not just the capacity itself. The battery makes sense especially where a company needs to manage energy more proactively than with conventional photovoltaics.
