Service and Warranty Claim Process for SolarEdge

This procedure applies to all devices from the manufacturer SolarEdge that are under the manufacturer's warranty. It is strongly recommended for devices that are under SOLSOL warranty, because it significantly speeds up the warranty claim process.

💡 Important:

➡️ This procedure is mandatory for all devices outside SOLSOL warranty that are still under the manufacturer's warranty.
➡️ If you still want to send goods under SOLSOL warranty for a warranty claim directly to SOLSOL, you must provide all of the required documents. In such a case, it is highly likely that the entire process will take longer than 30 days and you will be asked by technical support to provide the documents required by the manufacturer.

2. Diagnostics and measurements before a warranty claim

For a smooth claim process, the following steps must be performed:
📷 Take photos:
✅ Installation location
✅ Product + label
✅ Cable connections
✅ CT sensor placement
✅ Battery connection (if included in the system)
🔎 Record and submit the following measurements:
✅ String insulation measurement
✅ AC phase voltage (L1-L2, L2-L3, L1-L3, L1-N, L2-N, L3-N)
✅ DC string voltage + polarity
✅ Battery voltage + polarity
✅ Resistance measurement (N-PE)

3. Submit claim documents

Send completed documents and measured values ​​via the SolarEdge RMA Compensation Form:

📌 Important conditions:
✅ RMA approval by the manufacturer is necessary for the claim to be recognized.
✅ Defective equipment must be returned within 30 days of receipt of the replacement product.
✅ The system must be connected to SolarEdge monitoring within 90 days of activation.

4. Labor Compensation

SolarEdge will provide compensation for service work if the RMA is approved and the conditions have been met.
✅ Only SolarEdge certified technicians are eligible for reimbursement.
✅ Labor costs are reimbursed at a flat rate (additional costs are not reimbursed).
